Shoreview resident shows work at nature photography exhibit
Shoreview resident and nature photographer Jim Radford is exhibiting prints from his outdoor expeditions to American parks and other outdoor destinations. The exhibit is on display throughout the month of November at the Taste of Scandinavia in Shoreview, Highways 96 and 49.
Featured in his work is a magical sunset moment of the St. Paul skyline -- as well as scenic images made in Shoreview of the lakes and Rice Creek, of Utah, Arizona, northern Minnesota, Hawaii, and Alaska’s state and national parks.
Radford is a corporate marketing retiree from 3M, who now specializes in business special events video and still photography -- with a passion for the outdoors. His father introduced him to the craft in the 1950s, and ever since photography had been at the center of his recreational life.
He has merged his exhibitions with a one-hour presentation, titled ‘The Nature of Photography’ for local church, school and social groups, noting the impact that photography had had on his spiritual life.
His images are displayed and on sale online at: http://radfordpictures.com.
