Roseville Reading Recovery Teacher selected to attend National Reading Recovery Conference

Roseville Area Schools teacher Siri Peterson, a Reading Recovery Teacher at Emmet D. Williams Elementary School, was recently selected as a National Conference Grant award winner for the National Reading Recovery and K-6 Classroom Literacy Conference.

As a grant winner, Peterson will have all expenses paid to attend the National Reading Recovery Conference in February by the Reading Recovery Council of North America.

“I am beyond excited to receive a grant to attend the National Conference,” said Peterson. “I am confident that attending the National Conference will provide me such a rich opportunity to receive training and inspiration from some of the nation’s leading experts in early literacy development.”

The conference is the premier conference for Reading Recovery teachers in America.

Peterson has been a Reading Recovery teacher in Roseville Area Schools for five years, and previously taught fourth grade and special education.
