Both Roseville Area High School track and field teams took home one individual championship at last week’s Suburban East Conference meet.
Senior Caroline Brisbois took first place in the 3,200 meters by nearly seven seconds over the runner-up from Forest Lake. She completed the eight laps in 11:01.68.
Roseville’s boys team got its first-place performance in the 4x800-meter relay. Collin Kiley, Jack Schugel, Dan Zalk and Dan Wahlstedt won the event with a time of 8:07.26 to win by nearly two seconds.
In the team standings, Roseville’s boys team finished sixth with 82 points while Mounds View captured the conference title with 201.5. On the girls’ side, Roseville was fifth with 111.5 points while Mounds View took home the title with 194 points.
Next up for the Raiders is the Section 4AA state qualifier on Tuesday and Thursday at Stillwater Area High School.
