Best Use of Taxpayers' Money

They’re an amenity that most residents can’t go a day without. With a spring plagued with potholes, South-West readers no doubt were grateful for their tax money at work on area roads. Not only do quality streets increase the value of a neighborhood, but they improve safety in the snowy, sub-zero winters that rough up the roads in the first place. Keeping up with road maintenance often gives cities a run for the money, but area constituents are saying streets are worth the investment.
