Trees donated for entrance to Lake Elmo Park Reserve

The Washington County Board of Commissioners accepted the donation of trees Oct. 6, which will be planted at the entrance of the Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

A donor is interested in having trees planted along the entrance road of the park reserve to help screen the newly-constructed homes along the entrance road. The donation of $4,620 covers the cost for a contractor to plant seven 12-foot tall Black Hills Spruce this fall.
