From doorknobs to whole house renovations; Rossbach is there for you
"Rossbach's service, attention to detail and the fact that they stay on schedule is a real rarity in the construction business." - Pat Cumbie of Minneapolis
Since 1981, Rossbach Construction has garnered a reputation for offering reliable, quality service and craftsmanship. The company reflects a four generation-long tradition in the building trades and today offers a wide range of service.
“We are a full-service remodeling company. There’s nothing we won’t do for your home. From putting a doorknob on, to building you a new home,” says Don Hruby, longtime friend, partner, and co-owner of the company with Will Rossbach.
Don was originally hired as a designer and estimator and took ownership of the company in 2008 when then-president Rich Rossbach retired. Don stresses the most important aspect of running his business is communication.
“It’s very important for us to be able to communicate with our customers, not only through the estimating and design process, but throughout the whole course of the job,” he explains. Don says that undoubtedly, problems arise with every project, and communication of any issues, both to and from the customer, will allow them to be resolved quickly.
Besides communication, Rossbach crews make a tremendous effort to provide quality service based on their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. The five guiding principles of their business emphasize that customer service is a priority, as well as providing employees with a good place to work, the maximization of efficiency, maintaining fair pricing and choosing to be honest with everyone involved in a project.
Doing what others can’t
Don explains there was a trend over the last few years of homeowners opting for smaller-scale projects, such as remodeling kitchens and bathrooms. But as the real estate market recovers from the Great Recession, larger projects are beginning to come up, including room additions and whole-house renovations.
“Last year was one of the busiest since 2008, and we expect 2017 to be the same,” he says.
Rossbach is known for being a competent choice for jobs other construction companies are unwilling or unable to accomplish.
Deanna Lorinser of White Bear Lake explains, “They did a great job on raising our porch when another contractor said it couldn’t be done, and we’re very happy with the results.”
And the company’s 99 percent satisfaction rating stands as proof of the high-quality remodeling work that Rossbach is committed to.
Sue Jebens of Little Canada says she has dealt with Rossbach since 1989. “Every contractor and sub-contractor I have worked with has been polite, clean, and has met all the needs of each project,” she says.
What does the next year hold for Rossbach Construction?
Don simply says, “We are going to try and keep at what we’ve been doing. We don’t do a lot of marketing and advertising; 90 percent of our business is word of mouth from our satisfied, happy customers.”
