Gibbs Farm Memorial Day weekend event

Ramsey County Historical Society’s Gibbs Farm will begin its season Memorial Day weekend, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 26 and 27. Participants will be able to try homemade ice cream, meet farm animals, take tours of the historic Gibbs farmhouse and learn about the Dakota of Cloudman’s village. Parking is free and general admission costs $8 for adults, $7 for seniors age 62 and older and $5 for children between ages 4 and 6. The farm is located at 2097 Larpenteur Ave. W., St. Paul. North suburban cemeteries’ Memorial Day programs

Memorial Day programs will be held Monday, May 28, at three area cemeteries. St. Mary’s Cemetery, located on Helen Street North in North St. Paul, will host an event at 9 a.m. The Memorial Day address will be given by the pastor of St. Peter’s Church of North St. Paul. Lakeview Cemetery, located on Century Avenue in Mahtomedi, will host an event at 10 a.m. with an address given by Cmdr. Tom Burns, American Legion Post 39. Evergreen Memorial Gardens, located on Century Avenue in Mahtomedi, will host an event at 11 a.m., which will also include an address by Cmdr. Burns.
