North Suburban Gavel Association awarded the Distinguished Volunteer Leadership Award to nine very deserving recipients

On May 16 the North Suburban Gavel Association awarded the Distinguished Volunteer Leadership Award to nine very deserving recipients. They were recognized for their tremendous leadership and volunteer work in the community at a dinner and ceremony at the Roseville Skating Center. In addition to these volunteer leaders, two high school students were presented with a special Youth Award by the League of Women Voters Roseville Area. The following people were honored.

• Emma Cox and Elizabeth Hansel — Youth Award

• Nyia Harris — nominated by Do Good Roseville

• Mary Holt — nominated by Friends of Roseville Parks

• Joe Juettner — nominated by Beth Salzl, past recipient

• Rick Mathwig — nominated by Northeast Youth & Family Services

• John Robertson-Smith — nominated by City of Roseville, volunteer coordinator

• Eric Soderstrom — nominated by Kiwanis Club of North Suburban Golden K, St. Paul

• Dan Stoltz — nominated by Bill Foussard, past recipient

• Tom Sully — nominated by Lowell Thompson, past recipient

• Tim Woller — nominated by B-Dale Club
