County Road E construction begins soon

County Road E will be resurfaced between Centerville Road and Highway 61. Work is currently scheduled to begin July 16, weather permitting.

Milling and paving is scheduled to take place overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Noises from trucks beeping and the milling itself may be heard from nearby homes and businesses. Bright and flashing lights will be used in the work zone. Overnight work is expected to last four nights, and a schedule will be posted at www.ramseycounty.us/CountyRoadE closer to the start of resurfacing.

County Road E will remain open to traffic during the project and access to businesses and driveways will be maintained. There will be temporary lane closures. Traffic signals will be set to flashing stops while crews are working at night. Signals will operate normally during the day.

The project will take approximately three weeks to complete. Ground-in, high-durability stripes will be added to the road approximately 10 days after resurfacing is complete.
