Brodini Comedy Magic Show

On July 30, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., magician Brodini makes you laugh as he amazes you with his magic skills. Intended for kids ages 2 to 12, this will take place at the West St. Paul Library, 199 Wentworth Ave. E. 



Create a penetrometer, a tool that measures the strength of different materials, and test a variety of natural materials such as leaves, flower petals, and grasses to determine their toughness, using material from the PBS show, SciGirls. Registration is required for this session on July 31, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the South St. Paul Library, 106 Third Ave. N. It is open to kids ages 8 to 14. Coffee with a Cop

Stop by the Inver Grove Heights Caribou, 5763 Blaine Ave. E., from 9 to 10 a.m., on Aug. 1 to visit with Sgt. Kasey Schrandt and other members of the department for coffee and conversation.


Summer Playhouse

From 10:30 to 11 a.m., on Aug. 1, put on your backpacks and get ready for adventure at the South St. Paul Library, 106 Third Ave. N. The Summer Playhouse Crew would like you to join them as they sing, act, and move through their many adventures this summer with Dr. Seuss. You surely won’t want to miss a single week of these free, interactive performances. 


Laughter Yoga: Laughing for your health

Research shows that laughter is the best medicine. This course uses lecture and experiential practice. The instructor will lead you through a Laughter Yoga session with various laughter exercises to decrease stress and boost mood from 6 to 7:30 p.m., on Aug. 1, at Henry Sibley High School, 1897 Delaware Ave., Mendota Heights. LEGO Build Tournament

Compete against fellow LEGO enthusiasts to complete building challenges and win the title of LEGO Build Champion on Aug. 2 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the Inver Glen Library, 8098 Blaine Ave. E. Registration is required and is open to kids ages 5 to 12.
