Zephyr Theatre performs “Twelfth Night”

The Zephyr Theatre is performing Shakespeare’s comedy “Twelfth Night” outdoors every night Aug. 9-14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bayport Marina, 200 5th Ave. S. Tickets are $15 at the door or online at www.stillwaterzephyrtheatre.org.

“Twelfth Night” is a play of humorous confusion and love triangles with musical interludes. Viola, shipwrecked and desperate, disguises herself as a man going by the name Cesario, to become employed by Duke Orsino. She ends up falling in love with him. But Orsino is in love with the Countess Olivia, and she, in turn, falls in love with Cesario.

In addition to performing “Twelfth Night,” Zephyr Theatre, located at 601 Main St. N., Stillwater, is hosting a variety performing arts and events Tuesdays through Sundays starting Aug. 7,  including live theater, film, concerts, jazz jams, comedy, open mics, literary readings and storytelling, as well as swing, ballroom and folk dancing.
