Lake Elmo tutor receives volunteer service award

Revalon Wesson, Minnesota Math Corps math tutor for Lake Elmo Elementary School on Stillwater Boulevard, received the
President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award. Wesson, who has been a math tutor for four years, was recognized for serving
more than 5,200 hours. The President’s Volunteer Service Award honors those who, by demonstrated commitment and
example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service. Along with the presidential recognition, recipients receive a
certificate, an official pin, and a congratulatory letter from the president of the United States. Wesson is one of 66 tutors
to be recognized with The President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award this year.
