We're Persisting

In 1993, Mary Farrel Bednarowski launched a radical gathering of leading Feminist/Womanist/Mujerista/Asian Feminist theologians as the first keynote at the Re-Imagining conference in Minneapolis. At this year's Susan Draper White lectures, Mary will reflect on where we have been since Re-Imagining and where we are going in the era of the Women's March and #MeToo.

Mississippi Valley Orchestra Masterworks Concert

The Mississippi Valley Orchestra, one of the Twin Cities’ finest community orchestras, is presenting a concert of three powerful works. This will be the first appearance by MVO to the Benson Great Hall at Bethel University.

Conducted by Artistic Director Ho-Yin Kwok, led by concertmaster Sarah Grimes, and headlined by guest soloist Dean W. Billmeyer, this concert will delight you, and your family and friends.

Century College, in partnership with the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce, will co-host humanoid robot Sophia.   

Century College and the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Hanson Robotics, LTD, are excited to present Sophia, the latest and most advanced humanoid robot, at this one-of-a-kind event. Sophia will discuss how she and other prototypes will transform the healthcare industry. After her speech, Sophia will answer audience questions.
