Music Together in the Valley Summer Demos 6-8

 Music Together in the Valley is holding FREE demo sessions of its award-winning music program June 8 through 19.

 Sessions will be held at 15 locations throughout the Twin Cities area, including Apple Valley, Arden Hills, Blaine, Eden Prairie, Hudson, Hugo, Prior Lake, River Falls, St. Paul, Shoreview,
 Stillwater and Woodbury.

Music Together in the Valley Demos 6-16

 Music Together in the Valley is holding FREE demo sessions of its award-winning music program June 8 through 19.

 Sessions will be held at 15 locations throughout the Twin Cities area, including Arden Hills and Shoreview. The demo in Arden Hills, held through the Arden Hills Parks and Recreation
 Department, will be held June 16 at 10 a.m. at the Johanna Shores Senior Residence A demo at Metro Dance Center in Shoreview will be held June 8 at 9 a.m.

Turtle Lake Let's Play 5K
The Turtle Lake Elementary School PTA invites the public to take part in the fourth annual Let's Play 5K and Fun Run event on Saturday, May 30.


Shoreview Community Garden Club plant sale
On May 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine, in the Shoreview Community Center parking lot, 4600 N. Victoria St., the Shoreview Community Garden Club will host a plant sale of member-grown hardy perennials and plants.


Bow wow bonanza
On Saturday, May 30, from 1 to 4 p.m., the national Animal Inn Flyball Team will perform at The Legacy of St. Anthony senior housing.


Sons of Norway potluck
Join Mounds View Sons of Norway on Monday, June 1, 6 p.m., at Kordiak County Park, 1845 49th Ave. NE in Columbia Heights, for the annual June potluck.


Taste of Vadnais
Kick off the summer at the annual Tast of Vadnais event on Thursday, June 4, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at Vadnais Heights Commons, 655 E. County Road F.


Native plant expo and market
On Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the Cub Foods Community Pavilion at 1201 Larpenteur Ave. W. in Roseville will host the Landscape Revival native plant expo and market.


Annual Rhubarb Fest
On Sunday, June 7, from 1-4 pm. at the New Brighton History Center in Long Lake Park, 1500 Old Highway 8, the New Brighton Area Historical Society will put on its annual Rhubarb Fest.


Coffee hour
New Neighbor's Club starts off a series of summertime events with a coffee hour at the Shoreview Community Center on Thursday, June 11, at 10 a.m.


ECFE kids stuff sale
St. Anthony's Early Childhood & Family Education (ECFE) will have a kids' stuff fundraiser on Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to- 2 p.m. at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Road NE. 100 percent of proceeds supports ECFE programs.

Minnesota Twins Baseball Clinic 6-20

Minnesota Twins Clinic at Irondale H.S.

The Irondale summer baseball league is hosting a Minnesota Twins Clinic on Saturday June 20th at Irondale High School. 2 sessions beginning at 10:00 AM for ages 6-9 and at 11:30 AM for ages 10-16 will take place rain or shine. Irondale baseball field is the outdoor location and in the school is the rain location. No registration and no cost are involved.

Experiment with many mediums such as pastels, paint, ink, clay, metal and fabric while learning fun art forms including Suminagashi, Repousse and collage to create single compositions. As students explore these different media they will embark on a journey of self-discovery, creating original art that is an expression of themselves. Students should bring a snack & lunch, and a water bottle each day.
