Let's all have a good Christmas

Norma and I usually walk in the Maplewood Mall in the mornings. Many senior citizens generally walk, have coffee and often some other goodies each morning. Black Friday was different. Norma did not go. She said that there would be too many shoppers. I went about 7:30 a.m.

Temptations, temptations, temptations

King David was a man of very strong Spiritual convictions. He was the one man that was labeled "A man after God's own heart." One day when he should have been out with his men in combat, which was common practice, he was not. As a result he saw Bathsheba taking a bath next door.

God and government

Let's make a list of all the good things we like about America's 200 year history. Then we could make a list of the things we don't like. We all know which list would be longer. We are told in God's Word to pray for all who are in authority (I Timothy 2:1-3).

We all give it away

Yes, we all leave a heritage. Our children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors, co-workers, students and the list goes on. What we eat, how we talk, our work ethic, our attitude, our spiritual life are all part of who we are.

Food shelf day at Cub Foods
