Lake Elmo Bank employees were treated to winning bagels — compliments of First State Bank & Trust in Bayport. This 4th annual friendly competition  between the two community banks during food drive month raised a combined total of $21,511.

 Spring weight restrictions went into effect on Washington County roads at 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 17. Restrictions will be in effect for eight weeks, unless extraordinary conditions require extending them.

The Washington County Board of Commissioners took more steps Feb. 14 to complete planning for the Gateway Gold Line bus rapid transit corridor between downtown St. Paul’s Union Depot and Woodbury generally parallel to Interstate 94 route.
