An Oakdale woman was hit and killed by a vehicle while walking on Highway 120 on the border of Oakdale and Maplewood Monday night, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Police and sheriff's deputies from multiple agencies were called to Hwy. 120, also called Century Avenue and Geneva Avenue, near 10th Street North at about 5:45 p.m., according to the incident report.
Officers Brian Stroshane and Ryan Stuart were presented with the police department’s Medal of Valor after responding to an October call about a potentially suicidal man on the Fourth Street overpass above Interstate 694.
