The Lake Elmo Market is offering a $2,000 reward for information on three people who shattered a glass door and stole cigarettes worth $5,000 and cash from the store just before 1 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.
“I want them caught, so people know we’re not just going to be quiet about it,” said manager Ramiz Saadeh.
There were three attempted break-ins in the last year at the convenience store and gas station at 11025 Tenth St. N., prior to the recent burglary, according to Saadeh.

A woman suspected of stealing an 18-volt battery and charger kit valued at $99.99 from Mills Fleet Farm on Hadley Avenue managed to evade a loss prevention employee the afternoon of Wednesday, Nov. 13. Oakdale Police say the boy, identified by family members as Weaver Elementary kindergartener Jakob Schafer, was chasing a bouncy ball in the parking lot of Pump it Up, located at 7045 6th St., when a "dark SUV" hit him around 7:30 p.m.
