Staff Sgt. Michael Stroud offered his thanks on behalf of the U.S. Army to Katie and Jarred Britton for assisting Sgt. Travis Torgerson after he was dragged under a vehicle for nearly a mile last fall. Officers who assisted in the investigation were awarded a Unit Citation for their dedication.

On May 15, the Roseville Police Department recognized outstanding citizens, officers and investigators for their efforts to keep the city and its residents safe.
Following a springtime uptick in reports of thefts from automobiles, the Roseville Police Department has issued a crime alert, strongly encouraging residents to report any suspicious activity as soon as possible.
"Victims are indicating that they 'didn't want to bother the police' with a report of cars being rummaged through or other unusual activity at night," according to a statement from the department.
Just a week after a Roseville massage therapist pleaded guilty to charges of inappropriately touching female clients during appointments, Ramsey County prosecutors reported they have now filed charges against a Little Canada chiropractor for raping a client during an appointment.
A truck hauling a large load of water overturned in Roseville around 11:30 a.m. May 6. The rig was exiting onto Snelling Avenue northbound from State Highway 36 eastbound when the incident occurred, closing down the ramp for several hours.

Around 9:10 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, an unidentified man robbed the TCF Bank branch in the Cub Foods grocery store at Har Mar Mall, 2100 Snelling Ave. N. After implying he was armed with a weapon, the robber made off with an “undetermined amount of money,” according to a statement from the Roseville Police Department.
