Roger Westerling of the Truman Company has been in the business of buying and selling coins and precious metals for more than 40 years. His love of coins began early, in high school, working in his uncle Truman’s shop.
The latest addition to the Bru House is the Bru Thru at the opposite side of the shopping center, which opens at 6 a.m. on weekdays. “People are excited about it,” Bru House owner Lynn Barton says. “And it’s been so useful.”
It wasn’t only New Brighton’s need for a small coffee shop that led Lynn Barton to open the Bru House in 1996. It was also her passion for coffee itself.
