In a hard-fought girls hockey contest Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Aldrich Arena, the Hill-Murray Pioneers outlasted the Tartan Titans by a count of 2-0.

It was the opening game of Metro East Conference action for both teams.

Behind the hot hand and the 30-point effort of Marshawn Wilson, the Hill-Murray Pioneers held on to gain a hard-fought, 63-60 victory over the visiting St. Paul Academy Spartans.
In the Thursday, Dec. 4 game, the Pioneers owned a 10-point - 58-48 - lead with just under three minutes left in regulation.

Girls hockey: Tartan tops Shakopee

When the final ice chip fell to the surface Tuesday, Nov. 25 at Tartan Arena, the Tartan High School girls hockey team owned a 3-0 win over the Shakopee Sabers.
The win pushed the Titans’ record to 4-2 overall, and 1-0 in the Metro East Conference.

The their boys basketball home opener, the North High Polars squared off against the Edina Hornets at Hal Norgard Gymnasium in North St. Paul on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Though the Polars never led, they were never really out of it. Every time the Polars rallied to narrow the score, the Hornets would buzz back to a comfortable lead.
