In somewhat of a rarity in recent years, the Roseville Area High School gymnastics team does not enter the season as the defending state champion. That doesn’t spell the end of the Raiders’ run as a serious state-title contender, though.
In the early years, the Roseville Area High School girls hockey team was usually a scoring juggernaut. That has changed in recent years and this season the Raiders are stressing a “defense first” mentality.

Five members of the Roseville Area High School girls swimming and diving team wrapped up their season by participating in the state meet earlier this month. Two Raiders advanced to the finals and made serious runs at state titles.
The weekend didn’t start off all that great for the Mounds View/Irondale/Roseville PI division adapted soccer team but things turned around eventually. The Rams shrugged off an opening-round loss to earn the state consolation championship.
The prep girls swimming and diving season came to a conclusion last weekend as the state meet was held at the University of Minnesota. Roseville Area High School earned four entries in the Class AA state meet.
