The Suburban East Conference boys title chase in boys soccer has turned into a three-horse race and one of those contenders is Mounds View. The Mustangs entered this week as one of three teams with unblemished conference records.
The Concordia Academy football team snapped a two-game losing streak last Friday by winning its second road game in as many tries this season. The Beacons traveled to St. Paul Humboldt on Friday afternoon and came away with a 28-6 victory.

The Suburban East Conference football schedule makers did Roseville no favors with the back-to-back games it saddled the Raiders with in weeks four and five this year. Roseville has the pleasure of facing two of the top three teams in the conference in consecutive weeks.
A Parkview Middle School pool record fell earlier this month. Roseville Area High School freshman Michelle Schlossmacher Smith recorded the highest diving score in the history of the pool at a meet on Sept. 4.
