Some homeowners could see a $110 increase in annual city taxes

City council plans for modest tax bump

In Lake Elmo, median-valued properties are worth $397,000 and are expected to see a $52.97 increase in their 2019 property taxes compared to this year. 

The Oakdale City Council unanimously passed its preliminary 2019 tax levy at its Sept. 11 meeting.

The preliminary tax levy establishes the maximum amount the city can levy in 2019, though the city still has time to reduce it.

On Sept. 10, the Maplewood City Council passed a $22.1 million preliminary 2019 property tax levy, which represents a 3 percent increase over the 2018 final tax levy.

The Roseville Area League of Women Voters held a candidate forum Sept 4 for the candidates running for the Minnesota House District 43B seat.
