One local football coach has decided to hang up the whistle and put away the playbook after 46 years of coaching and five state championships at the high school level.
There are two local high school basketball teams that will look to their upperclassmen to help stay relevant throughout the year and for a shot at the state tournament.

The Roseville Raiders boys hockey team faced Mounds View Dec. 6 in it’s home opener at the Roseville Ice Arena, where penalties stifled the Raiders’ late comeback push. The Mustangs won 6-3.

The 2018 St. Anthony Village High School football team went to state for the first time since 1999 and finished the season with an 8-3 record.
It was a frigid and snowy night at Park Center High School where the St. Paul Johnson Governors and St. Anthony Village Huskies went toe-to-toe in what was a tale of two halves on Nov. 8.
The North High School volleyball team had an opportunity to punch its ticket to the state tournament on Nov. 1 against the Stillwater Ponies at Washington Technology Magnet School in St. Paul.
