A hike will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Big Marine Park Reserve. This hike coincides with Free Tuesdays, when no park vehicle permit is required to enter Washington County Parks on the first Tuesday of the month.
The program meets at the playground. Bring binoculars and dress for the weather. The walk will be one mile on easy turf and paved trails; children must be accompanied by an adult. If there is light rain, a modified program will be at the beach building.
Lake Elmo Park Reserve is at the intersection of County Road 19 and County Road 10 (one mile north of Interstate 94) in Lake Elmo. It is a free program with park permit ($5/day or $25/annual).
