Notice The City of Maplewood is now accepting applications to fill openings on the following commissions: Environmental & Natural Resources Commission (2 openings) Housing and Economic Development Commission (2 openings) Human Rights Commission. CITY OF NORTH ST. PAUL ORDINANCE NO. 729 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING TEXT OF THE NORTH SAINT PAUL CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES TITLE XV, CHAPTER 154 SECTIONS 154.159 AND 154.204 B-2 AND DD ZONING DISTRICTS LOT, YARD AND HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS TO ALLOW AWNINGS/CANOPIES TO BE COMPLIANT WITH THE DOWNTOWN DESIGN MANUAL The City Council of the City of North St. Paul does hereby ordain: I. The underlined language has been added as follows: Section 154.159, Lot, Yard and Height Requirements. This section will be amended to include language to allow awnings and canopies to be compliant with the Downtown Design Manual. Section 154.159(G) Non-encroachments: The following shall not be encroachments on yard setback requirements: cornices, canopies, chimneys, flues, belt courses, leaders, sills, pilasters, lintels, ornamental features, eaves, gutters and the like, provided they do not extend more than two feet into a yard, except awnings and canopies, if located within the boundaries of the Design District, are subject to the provisions of the Downtown Design Manual. Section 154.204, Lot, Yard and Height Requirements. This section will be amended to include language to allow awnings and canopies to be compliant with the Downtown Design Manual. COMBINED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT Notice is hereby given that the Dakota County Consortium (made up of Anoka, Dakota, Suburban Ramsey, and Washington Counties) will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Hawthorne Room at the Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota to afford an opportunity for the public to comment on the performance of the Dakota County Consortium in meeting the housing, community, and economic development needs as outlined by the Consortium in the 2010 Dakota County Consortium Consolidated Plan. September 11, 2014 also represents the beginning of a fifteen (15) day public comment period during which time a draft version of the Dakota County Consortium Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for Fiscal-Year 2013 will be available for review and citizen comment. The draft CAPER will be available for citizen review during the office hours of the Ramsey County Community and Economic Development department (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) and on the website at www.co.ramsey.mn.us through September 29, 2014.
