METROPOLITAN COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON 2030 TRANSPORTATION POLICY PLAN AMENDMENT The Metropolitan Council will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the 2030 Transportation Policy Plan to include two highway projects identified by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) as part of its Corridors of Commerce program. The two projects are Minnesota Highway 610, from its current terminus at Hennepin County Highway 81 to Interstate 94 and a project on Interstate 94 to add an eastbound auxiliary lane from Minnesota Highway 241 to Minnesota Highway 101, to extend the westbound exit ramp at Highway 101 and to add a third westbound lane between Highways 101 and 241. The state will fund these projects through the Corridors of Commerce program, approved by the Minnesota Legislature in 2013. CITY OF OAKDALE ORDINANCE NO. 785 AMENDING CHAPTER 25 – ZONING, ARTICLE 18 – GENERAL BUILDING AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS, SECTION 25- 152 - MULTIPLE FAMILY HOUSING, COMMERCIAL, AND INDUSTRIAL SITE REVIEW, (H) – DEVELOPERS AGREEMENT. Section 1. The City Council of the City of Oakdale ordains that Chapter 25, Article 18, of the Code of Ordinances be amended as follows: Sec. 25-152(h) Developers Agreement. The City Council may require that an agreement be signed by the developer and itself which guarantees that certain improvements judged essential to the public interest and specified in the site plan are carried out within a specified time period. The City Council may require that a performance bond, irrevocable letter of credit, or cash deposit be presented by the developer to ensure completion of such improvements. Such financial guarantee may equal 125% of the estimated cost of the specified improvements. At least 40% of the financial guarantee for landscaping improvements shall be retained for two complete growing seasons. This Ordinance shall take effect after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
