CITY OF LITTLE CANADA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REZONING OR VARIANCE PROPOSAL: A request for approval of the Rezoning of property located at 3065 Spruce Street from Industrial- Park (I-P) District to Light Industrial (I-1) District or a Variance from the IP District outdoor storage standards. CITY OF LITTLE CANADA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ZONING CODE AMENDMENT PROPOSAL: The City of Little Canada is proposing an Amendment to the Zoning Code clarifying the language in Section 902.010 F.1. relative to the definition of “Family”. PLANNING COMMISSION: The Little Canada Planning Commission will be reviewing this matter at its regular meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2014. CITY OF LITTLE CANADA ORDINANCE NO. 763 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, REZONING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF PROPERTY TO PUBLIC (P) DISTRICT The Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: Section 1. The following described parcels are hereby rezoned from Industrial-Park (I-P) District to Public (P) District: 2858 Centerville Road Little Canada, MN 55117 Property Identification No. 06-29-22-41-0027 Section 2. The Zoning Administrator is hereby instructed to mark the Official Zoning Map in accordance with the Ordinance. Section 3. The Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication. PASSED by the Council of the City of Little Canada this 26th day of February, 2014. CITY OF LITTLE CANADA ORDINANCE NO. 764 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LITTLE CANADA ZONING CODE RELATIVE TO AUTO SALES LOT LICENSES AND AUTO SALES LOTS IN COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA ORDAINS: Section 1. Section 911.040.F. of the Little Canada Zoning Code (“B-2” Auto Oriented Business District, Conditional Uses) is hereby amended to read as follows: 8. No more than a total of two (2) motor vehicle sales lot licenses may be in full force at any one time in the B-2 and B-4 Districts, nor may more than a total of three (3) such licenses be in force at any one time in the B- 2, B-4, and I-1 Districts combined. Section 2. Section 912-A.040.N. of the Little Canada Zoning Code (“B-4” Comprehensive Business District, Conditional Uses) is hereby amended to read as follows: 8. No more than a total of two (2) motor vehicle sales lot licenses may be in full force at any one time in the B-2 and B-4 Districts, nor may more than a total of three (3) such licenses be in force at any one time in the B- 2, B-4, and I-1 Districts combined. Section 3. Section 914.040.D. of the Little Canada Zoning Code (“I-1” Light Industrial District, Conditional Uses) is hereby amended to read as follows: 9. No more than a total of two (2) motor vehicle sales lot licenses may be in full force at any one time in the B-2 and B-4 Districts, nor may more than a total of three (3) such licenses be in force at any one time in the B- 2, B-4, and I-1 Districts combined. Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance amending the Little Canada Zoning Code shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and publication. CITY OF LITTLE CANADA NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT SCHLETTY DRIVE (SOUTH OF LITTLE CANADA ROAD) IMPROVEMENT NO. 2014-02 Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Little Canada will meet at the Little Canada City Center at 515 Little Canada Road at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 to consider the improvement of Schletty Drive (south of Little Canada Road) by full reconstruction including concrete curb and gutter, an upgraded storm sewer system, and the addition of water main and street lighting pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111. The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is all Little Canada properties abutting said improvements as described above. The estimated cost of the improvement is $538,000.00. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.
