NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm. at 1609 Park Street, City Shoreview, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota 55126, the following property will be sold by public auction by the Sheriff of Ramsey County: 

A 1998 “MARS” manufactured home, VIN 71407, and any contents therein or about the premises. The manufactured home is located within the Brookside Manufactured Home Community. 

This sale will be held to satisfy a claim upon the above-described property held by BRKS, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes sections 504B and 514. Upon information and belief, this property is owned by Ronald Droll. A Writ of Recovery of Premises, issued by the Ramsey County District Court on July 19, 2017, in favor of BRKS, LLC, against Ronald Droll, the then current occupant of the property known as 1609 Park Street, Shoreview, Minnesota 55126, has been executed by the Ramsey County Sheriff on July 25, 2017. 

The amount of the claim against the above referenced property is $3,090 computed to the date of sale at the rate of $30.00 per day, exclusive of the expenses of said sale and any expenses occurred after this notice.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING RENEWAL OF 

COMCAST CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE ORDINANCE 

The City of Arden Hills, Minnesota (the “City”), through the North Suburban Cable Commission has informally negotiated a cable television franchise with Comcast of Minnesota, Inc. (“Comcast”). 

The City of Arden Hills will open a public hearing on Monday, October 23, 2017. The public hearing will commence at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the public, including Comcast, may be heard, at the City of Arden Hills City Hall, located at 1245 West Highway 96, Arden Hills, MN 55112. For directions to City Hall or any questions regarding the public hearing, the public may contact the City Clerk at (651) 792-7800 or jhanson@cityofardenhills.org

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO COMCAST OF MINNESOTA, INC., D/B/A COMCAST TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE, AND MAINTAIN A CABLE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM IN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA; SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS ACCOMPANYING THE GRANT OF THE FRANCHISE; PROVIDING FOR REGULATION AND USE OF THE SYSTEM AND THE PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY’S RIGHT-OF-WAY ORDINANCE, IF ANY, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS HEREIN; 

The City Council of the City of Little Canada ordains:

Section 1

STATEMENT OF INTENT AND PURPOSE 

The City intends, by the adoption of this Franchise, to bring about the further development of a Cable System and the continued operation of it. Such development can contribute significantly to the communication needs and desires of the residents and citizens of the City and the public generally. Further, the City may achieve better utilization and improvement of public services and enhanced economic development with the development and operation of a Cable Communication System. 

Adoption of this Franchise is, in the judgment of the Council, in the best interests of the City and its residents. 

The specific terms and conditions of the Franchise Ordinance, Sections 1 to 14, and Exhibits are available for review at City Hall, Little Canada City Hall, 515 Little Canada Road East, Little Canada, MN 55117.

Section 2
