WHEREAS, default has been made in the terms and conditions of the Amended and Restated Declaration of Regency Condominium Homes, Condominium No. 19 (henceforth the Declaration) dated November 1, 1990 and recorded in the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Dakota County, Minnesota on March 20, 1991 as Document No. 240029, which said Lien covers the following described property situated in the County of Dakota and State of Minnesota, to-wit: 

Apartment No. B-19, Condominium Ownership No. 19, Regency Condominium Homes, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the Office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Dakota County, Minnesota.

WHEREAS, pursuant to said Declaration, there is claimed to be due and owing as of the date of this Notice by Michelle A. Vansickle as unit owner, to Regency Homeowner’s Association the principal amount of Four Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-six Dollars and 26/100 ($4,326.26) for assessments, through September, 2018 and no action being now pending at law or otherwise to recover said debt or any part thereof, and; 

WHEREAS, pursuant to said Declaration, said debt creates a lien upon said premises in favor of Regency Homeowners Association.

Mobilitie LLC is proposing to construct a 55 foot wood replacement utility pole telecommunications tower at 927-949 5th Avenue S, South St. Paul, Dakota County, MN 55075 (44 52 33.027 N / -93 02 23.276 W). The tower is anticipated to have no lights. PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to Minn. Stat 462.355, Subd. 2, notice is hereby given that a public hearing of the Inver Grove Heights Planning Commission is scheduled to receive comments from the public on a Draft of the updated 2040 Comprehensive Plan for the City of Inver Grove Heights. 

The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 7th commencing at 7:00 PM and will be held at the Inver Grove Heights City Hall Council Chambers, 8150 Barbara Avenue. 

The 2040 Comprehensive Plan is a long range plan that will guide the future growth and development of the Inver Grove Heights over the next 20 years. The plan address topics such as land use, housing, economic development, parks, transportation, trails, and community infrastructure. 

The official public hearing will be preceded by an informal “drop in” open house from 5:45 to 6:45 pm in the Council Chambers. Stop in to view materials and visit with the staff team and community members prior to the public hearing.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

VETERANS MEMORIALCOMMUNITY CENTER 

INDOOR POOLS RESURFACING 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed Request for Proposals will be received by representatives of the City Council of Inver Grove Heights, Dakota County, MN, at the City Hall Building at 8150 Barbara Avenue in said City by 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018, for consideration of resurfacing indoor pools and associated features at Veterans Memorial Community Center. 

All in accordance with Specifications prepared by the City and available at the Office of the Parks and Recreation Department, 8055 Barbara Avenue, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077, dated October 15, 2018 on file with the City Clerk. 

Specifications incorporating the work for the project may be examined and requested at the Office of the Recreation Superintendent. 

Work on this project must be completed between March 1- April 5, 2018 

Proposals must be on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, and no proposal will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond, payable to the City, for not less than 5% of the proposal, as a guarantee that the vendor will, within fifteen (15) days after notification of the award of contract, enter into an agreement with the City and furnish a bond for the full amount of the contract as provided for by law. This deposit will be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. 

Cash deposits, certified checks, and bid bonds of up to three (3) selected proposals may be retained until the contract has been awarded and executed, but no longer than 60 days from the date proposal are due. All other deposits will be refunded promptly. 

The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informality therein, and to adjourn to a later date for the purpose of further consideration of the proposals and taking action thereon. No proposal may be withdrawn within 60 days from the date proposal are due. 

The City Council will consider award of contract at their regular meeting held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 8150 Barbara Avenue.

INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 197

PUBLICATION NOTICE

MONDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2018

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING AND WORK SESSION 

A school board meeting and work session were held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Henry Sibley High School, Room A-241, 1897 Delaware Avenue, Mendota Heights, MN. The following board members were present: John Chandler, Brenda Corbett, Stephanie Levine, Joanne Mansur, Maureen Ramirez, Byron Schwab and Terry Stamman. Superintendent Peter Olson-Skog was present. Student Representative Sonja Hanson was present. 

Motions carried to approve the agenda and consent agenda. The consent agenda included the minutes from the October 3, 2018 meeting; personnel recommendations; final reading of Policy 406; resolution to combine polling locations for 2019; July and August 2018 accounts payable reports; July and August 2018 treasurer’s report; and September 2018 wire transfers report. 

The 2018 School District 197 community survey results were presented. 

A first reading of Policy 603, Curriculum Development, was presented. 

A first reading of Policy 604, Instructional Curriculum, was presented. 

A work session followed. Updates were provided on the facilities design process and the American Indian Education Program. Items tabled to another meeting included the School District 197 Scorecard; the 2017-2018 World’s Best Workforce annual report; and the 2018-2019 World’s Best Workforce Plan. 

The meeting adjourned at 7:57 p.m. 

The next regularly scheduled School Board meeting of Independent School District 197 is scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mendota Heights Council Chambers, 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN.
