Oakdale pulled into Midwest Oil suit

Attempts by the city of Oakdale and Menards to have the bright yellow "The Winner" sign removed from its home adjacent to an empty gas station on Hadley Avenue and Highway 5, owned by Midwest Oil, have now brought the two entities into a lawsuit issued to protect the structure.

District 833 considering reducing walking distances to local junior high schools

North cagers hang on to stymie Pioneers

The North Polars, Feb. 27, hosted the Hill-Murray Pioneers in a Classic Suburban Conference boys' basketball contest at the Hal Norgard Gymnasium.

The Polars tied the score at two and then went on a 10-2 run and were able to maintain the edge until intermission.
