When the Lake Elmo Council voted 4-0 to distribute the city’s latest version of its comprehensive plan to neighboring communities and the Metropolitan Council on Aug. 16, it left off one of the 11 modifications that had been recommended by the Planning Commission on Aug. 8.
The skies were blue, with intermittent puffy clouds passing overhead. There was a slight northwest wind drifting up the underhill. The temperatures hovered in the mid-70s. It was a great Minnesota summer day. It was a perfect day for flying.
The Washington County Board of Commissioners approved an agreement with the City of Oak Park Heights and the City of Stillwater that will make development of the Washington County Government Center campus easier and more efficient.
