Roseville planning another deer cull


file photo • Following a January 2017 deer cull in which 20 animals were killed, on April 9 the Roseville City Council approved another cull of 20 animals to be carried out between October and January 2019.

Last January, United States Department of Agriculture sharpshooters hired by the City of Roseville shot and killed 20 deer in a single night in order to reduce the city’s herd.

Rosedale Herberger’s could close this summer


Mike Munzenrider • The Rosedale Center Herberger’s, which opened in 1999, is slated to close this summer as part of its parent company’s bankruptcy restructuring, unless a possible new owner decides to keep the department store open.

Just months after reopening following its first renovation in nearly two decades, the Herberger’s at Rosedale Center could be closing for good this summer.
