Started her heavenly journey after a long courageous battle with cancer.  Preceded in death by Parents, George and Mabel Wennerstrom, Husband, James Arthur Malarkey, Brothers Vern and Bob Wennerstrom, Grandson Mark E Malarkey, and Daughter-in-law Sandra Kay Malarkey.  Survived by loving Son Dennis Malarkey, Grandchildren: Bob Malarkey (Shelly), Dawn Buchal (Jim), Barb Barry (Dave), Jamie Malarkey (Brenda), Special Friend Jessica, and many Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.  She was a caring, loving, generous, humorous wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved her Family, Friends, Neighbors, Travel, Word Puzzles, Chocolate, Dancing, Game Shows, the Wild, Twins, Vikings, Gophers, and Sr. Softball.  A graduate of Edison HS, she worked a variety of jobs including her father’s fur farm and grocery store, Egekvist Bakery, Kraft Foods, and Mack Engineering, moving from retail to bookkeeping, and finally to upper management positions.  Shortly after her marriage to James, she also took on the extra burden of rental property maintenance as they acquired apartment building investments.  She finally retired at age 73 and was able to enjoy the fruits of her labor while generously sharing with her family, church, and charities.  She will be sadly missed by all who  knew her!  A celebration of her life is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 3 p.m. at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 1660 W. County Road B, Roseville, with visitation beginning at 2 p.m.  Private interment at Ft. Snelling, National Cemetery.  Memorials to St. Michael’s Mission trip or Roseville Central Park Foundation.
