Celebrate Urban Birds at the St. Paul Public Library


St. Paul Public Library is hosting three programs lead by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology where kids and families can learn about local birds, do a citizen science observation, and make a birdfeeder to take home for free.

“Celebrate Urban Birds” is a citizen science project through the Cornell Lab of Ornithology focused on better understanding the value of green spaces for birds. Elpis Enterprises will be providing the birdfeeders. The following libraries will host the programs:

 • Riverview Library, 1 George St. E., on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m.; 651-292-6626

• Hamline Midway Library, 1558 Minnehaha Ave. W., Saturday, Sept.23 at 3 p.m.; 651-642-0293

• Sun Ray Library, 2105 Wilson Ave., Saturday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m.; 651-501-6300
