Acorn Award nominations now being accepted

Each year, Oakdale’s Acorn Awards program recognizes properties that go above and beyond in landscaping efforts. Winning properties are selected by the Oakdale Garden Club and receive a gift card from an area nursery and a visit from the Oakdale City Council. An Acorn Award sign is posted in the yard for several weeks. Residents can nominate as many properties as they want, even their own, but nominations must be received by June 1. To nominate a property, visit www.ci.oakdale.mn.us and find Acorn Awards in the News Flash section.
