Movie Night at the Ballpark

Event Description

AARP Minnesota will be hosting the Fifth Annual Movie Night at the Ballpark at St. Paul’s CHS Field on August 1st, where we will be screening A League of Their Own (rated PG). Moviegoers can take in the event in the stands or they can bring a blanket to enjoy the movie from the outfield of the park. The event is free to movie-lovers of any age, family-friendly and inclusive to all, and a fantastic way to connect to the richness and heart of St. Paul.

Prairie Walk

Event Description

Come and see what’s blooming on the Gibbs Farm prairie! Bring your camera and join Master Naturalists and Gibbs Farm Volunteers Cathy Croghan and Kathy Robbins on Saturday July 27th at 10:30 for a 45 minute prairie walk. Enjoy the many flowers and grasses that make up this important and rare plant community that was once so common in Minnesota.

Gibbs Farm is open from 10-4 on weekends, and the Prairie Walk is included in admission price!

Knock on Wood: Trees and Their Uses

Event Description

Join a 45 minute walking tour through the Gibbs Farm site led by Master Naturalists and Gibbs Farm Volunteers Kathy Robbins and Cathy Croghan. Learn to identify woody plants and find out about Minnesota trees.

Gibbs Farm is open from 10-4 on weekends and the walking tour is included in the admission price.

$8 adults, $7 seniors 62+, $5 children 3 and up. Free for RCHS members!
