Greetings, East Siders.
My name is Patrick. I’m lucky enough to be the new news editor at the East Side Review.
As is tradition, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.

Jalen Mobley and Quashingm Smith-Pugh of  Johnson High School have been named to the Class AAA Boys’ Basketball All-Tournament Team.


Heroic acts earn fire department commendation

Running into a burning building takes quite a bit of courage, especially when not wearing any rescue gear.

Responding on Jan. 31 to a 911 call reporting a house fire at 976 Earl St., two doctors from Regions Hospital risked their lives to save a 17-year-old girl.


Mounds Theatre seeking to capitalize upon STAR grant

Mitchell Frazier, Lighting and Technical Director, and Raeann Ruth, Founder and Executive Director, are striving to raise funds for needed updates at the Historic Mounds Theatre. They are hoping the Kick Starter Campaign will help in their quest to match a $5,000 Star Grant awarded by the City of St. Paul. (Linda Baumeister/Review)

In their efforts to bring the arts to St. Paul's East Side, Historic Mounds Theatre relies upon very little.
